Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Popularity and sanitation part ways on this listing. How guests are treated tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 5.0 stars.
Conspicuously absent: portion size, which no reviewer brings up. The split is 21 positive to 1 negative across 23 rated reviews, with 1 in the middle. 5 stars is the modal score, given by 21 of the 23 reviewers who rated.
None of that is visible in a star rating: the most recent DBPR inspection graded this kitchen an F (57/100), citing 3 high-priority, 3 intermediate, and 10 basic violations. Diner sentiment and inspection result are measuring different things here, and only one of them is checked by the state. That inspection was on May 20, 2026. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 3% of the restaurants we score. Among the items recorded were food & equipment thermometers provided and accurate.
The practical read: people enjoy eating here, and the kitchen still failed its last inspection. Those are separate claims, and only the second one gets checked by anybody. Everything above is computed from the 23 reviews reproduced below.

Amazing seasonings and atmosphere. Best chicken place in downtown. What really surprised me was the amazing music choice and quick service. Definitely coming back with friends!
-
Their loaded fries bowl was FIREEEEE! Amazing flavor and great taste. That Coke Zero along with it hit the sweet spot.

This is amazing. I got the medium level chicken with normally made fries and it did NOT disappoint. Even the medium level was the spiciest thing I’ve ever had, but I mean that in a good way! Some of the best chicken I’ve ever eaten. The fries were not the best but still good. Jay was an amazing server and I want to compliment her for her service. She had great recommendations as well. WILL BE COMING BACK SOON!

Really wonderful. They care about what they are offering to the community and it surely never disappoints. Service, experience, warmth of the personalities working there. A recurring visit!

Love this place. It seems so simple, but it's so good. Be aware that the spice level is real, I'm a wimp and do the meak, but my husband loves the medium. Staff is super friendly too. I definitely took advantage of their BOGO for nurses week. Best deal I got the whole week 😂

Food was very tasty and was very well seasoned. Just had the firebox and was a bit skeptical at first, but the fries remained crispy the entire time with little to no sogginess, even with the slaw and sauce . Would definitely recommend again in the future
