What diners say — our read

Sorted newest-first, the ratings decline as you read up. Reviewers who mention service rate this place 5.0 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour. Tidiness follows at 26% of reviews, where ratings average 5.0.

9 of 10 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 1 are two or lower. Behind those, plate size is raised in 21% of reviews (5.0 average). If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (7 reviews).

The room needed a deep cleaning!

Great place to stay. For business or just because. Whatever brings you to the area you won’t be disappointed when stay at the Embassy downtown Orlando.

A smaller and more personal embassy suites experience. Staff is excellent. Rooms are solid - Embassy Suites layout

  • June 3, 2026

Beautiful room - friendly staff - used this as one of my FNC - close to Plaza theater and church st area

We had a great stay! Many restaurants & Publix within walking distance. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast was DELICIOUS & the food we ordered for dinner was even better! Pool is small. Would stay here again!

Perfectly located in DTO, right next to Lake Eola. Free breakfast and evening drinks! I love it here!

We stay here every time we visit Orlando. This time, we had an unexpected issue with our room upon our arrival. Our concerns were promptly, sensitively, and professionally addressed by the manager and front desk agent. Their efforts were greatly appreciated.

First room had musty smell but Tia was able to resolve the issue for us with a different room. Then she was able to place the rest of my family in an adjoining room. It work out great! Kudos to her for all her listening and help

The front desk was extremely kind and helpful with all of our needs from luggage, checking in and out,--thank you, Ms. Nairobi Waru! We were greeted at every turn and floor throughout our experience. Really made it feel that we were welcomed. ||Such an accessible and walkable location. Close to everything downtown, including the Church Street Sunrail. Inside the hotel was very clean and neat. Breakfast was very filling, with the breakfast bar being open for a few hours. The beds were very comfortable. Pillows are really squishy, however. Worth the price, especially if visiting Downtown Orlando for the nightlife, business conferences, or leisure.

The hotel was clean and classy. Good location for downtown . Next to coffee shops and brunch spots galore. Lake Eola makes for a nice view. Also great for running for walking. My room was clean and spacious. Basic really but spacious. I do love the bar space. The reason I did a 4 star: their little store was closed most of the time so basics like a soda you had to get from the vending machines. Not even option to get coffee conveniently downstairs. Parking is easy but across street as valet was not operating. Pool was okay. Nothing special ..so basically an easy spot to just sleep and shower. Would go back regardless.

Gave it a 4 because of traffic noise. It was awful. Downtown near bars, racing, woofers, traffic until 2am. If you stay, ask for a room opposite Pine and Rosalind streets.

We had a great stay before a show at Dr.Phillips Center. It was within easy walking distance and easy to get to. The hotel staff was great and very helpful. Dane was especially helpful and a great resource for the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Be aware this is a downtown Orlando hotel and in at least 30 minutes from any theme park. Bar staff and hotel dining were excellent. Room showed significant wear. Toilet rating around bottom and paint peeling everywhere. Housekeeping staff left something to be desired. Happy hour and included breakfast were great

    Great experience, amazing staff.

The front staff was great . The breakfeast was fantastic really good |The house keeping 1st day was good The 2nd day they didn't leave towels and didn't refill the coffe.| I was not happy about that at all but other then that was a really nice place to stay.

Perfect location, walking distance to great restaurants, shoppes and more. The Embassy Suites staff was very helpful with pre check in Q&A and friendly upon arrival. Happy hour with lite snacks/cocktails included w a large buffet breakfast too! The rooms are very clean and spacious! Housekeeping took no time at all to assist us w extra blankets etc. we’ve already booked our next stay at this hotel.

    Everything was great

  • April 17, 2026

I usually love Embassy, and the staff is always very nice. I must say, though, the grout in the shower/tub and all around the steel grab bars was very moldy, the lavatory spigot handle loose and faucet leaked, the floors were sticky, the ceiling in front of the AC vents had dirt streaks. The teeny tiny little bitty frig/mini-micro stand was the worst part. No counter space, no coffee filters, no dishes or flatware, no soap, no paper towels, nothing. It was too tiny to even set anything down. This was a big apartment size suite with a large bathroom (which also had no counterspace for our things), but this extremely tiny little stand for food or drinks was really ridiculous. I guess you are trying to force people downstairs to pay instead. Anyway, the poor housekeeping and horrible design will stop me from ever coming to an Embassy again, it was very annoying. Too bad, it used to be my favorite. Even the food has been degraded, super greasy bacon, cheap tasteless pastries, etc.
