There is no middle ground in these 27 reviews. When front-of-house comes up here it is usually a criticism, and the ratings attached average 2.4. Cleanliness is the next most common subject, in 33% of reviews (averaging 3.0).
The single most common rating left here is 1 star (9 of 18). The split is 5 positive to 10 negative across 18 rated reviews, with 3 in the middle.
The inspection lands in between as well: DBPR graded this kitchen a B (88/100), citing 1 high-priority and 4 basic violations. The visit behind that grade was September 12, 2025. On health score it sits safer than 37% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. For specifics, the last inspection cited wiping cloths and single-service and single-use items.
The weak part of this listing is the experience, not the sanitation — those are different failures. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

Heads up to those expecting to use the complimentary airport shuttle, it's no longer 24 hours, even though they still advertise 24 hours as of leaving this review (6/28/26). I sent an email upon checking in on May 24th and again on May 31st. I have yet to receive a response. Very disappointing to say the least. I copied the email I sent below, maybe someone will take notice to a negative review, maybe they won't. Second email, sent May 31st- "I specifically chose your property because it advertised a 24-hour complimentary shuttle, which was necessary due to my late-night flight. Upon notifying the front desk of a flight delay via the Bonvoy app, I was informed that the shuttle service hours had recently changed to 4:00 AM – 12:00 AM. The agent I spoke with advised me to submit my Uber receipt for a full refund of the fare (excluding tip). I sent the receipt upon checking in but have not yet received a response. I have attached the following documentation to this email for your review: - A screenshot of the Uber receipt. - A screenshot of my conversation with the front desk agent. - A screenshot showing the 24-hour shuttle service still advertised on your website.

Hotel lost power. Air stopped working. Hallways were dark making it difficult to get downstairs with luggage and children.
-
Stupid processes. No water in room. Broken elevator.

Booked this last minute for our family of 5 of as we're arriving late so wanted to be close to airport. Booked as 2 adults, 3 kids in room with 2 queen beds and confirmed that the description said rollaway permitted. However, when we arrived late they told us no rollaway was allowed in the room and would not acknowledge what the website stated. No apology, no compassion, nothing except "we'll cancel your reservation." Thankful that Mariott customer service found somewhere else to stay for the night and compensated us for the issues and apologizes for the experience at this hotel.

Hotel was great along with the front counter associate! Breakfast was good and remained well stocked.
-
The rooms feel a bit small, no luggage bench in the room. Room is clean but had to wait close to an hour for airport pickup.
-
Front Desk Staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

I stayed at this Fairfield recently, and it was my first experience with a Fairfield property. Unfortunately, the customer service was disappointing. The front desk staff seemed inexperienced and unprepared to handle basic guest requests. As a government employee, I requested a tax-exempt form. I was previously provided the required documentation at another Marriott property (Courtyard by Marriott) without any issues, but the staff here insisted that I was required to bring the form. When I asked if they could print the form for me, I was told that their printer was not working. The main reason I chose this hotel was for the airport shuttle service, but after this experience, I would not stay here again. They do offer complimentary breakfast, which is a nice perk, but many other hotels provide the same benefit. On a positive note, the room was clean and comfortable. It showed some signs of wear, but for the price, it was acceptable. Management should take a closer look at customer service and staff training. If these issues are not addressed, negative guest experiences may become a recurring trend and could eventually impact the hotel's reviews and reputation.

Airport Hotel. Location great for airport. Pretty old dated hotel. Bathroom is very dark and not clean. URINE from previous guest sprayed on floor in bathroom. Yuk!! Beds in room neeed replacing long overdue. Mattress old and uncomfortable. Disappointing stay. Usually Marriott properties are great. This one needs to invest urgently in renovations. Would not stay here again.

Last minute booking turned out great!!

This was one of the most frustrating hotel arrival experiences I have ever had. We booked this hotel mainly because it was advertised as offering a free 24/7 airport shuttle. After a long flight, that was exactly the kind of service we needed. When we landed at Orlando International Airport, we called the hotel and the front desk instructed us to go to Terminal C, Ground Transportation level, pickup spot C271. We were told that the driver would be notified. So we rushed through the airport with our luggage because we did not want to keep the shuttle driver waiting. We went all the way to the instructed pickup point, waited there, and nobody came. When we called again, we were suddenly told that the shuttle service was no longer available and that we should take an Uber instead. So the hotel not only advertised a shuttle that apparently did not exist, but also sent us to a specific pickup point before telling us the service was unavailable. That is unacceptable. We had to walk around the airport unnecessarily with luggage, lose time, deal with confusion after a flight, and pay for Uber out of pocket. At the hotel, we were given an email address and told to send the Uber receipt for reimbursement. We sent two emails with the receipt and relevant information. No response. The room itself was acceptable, but that does not make up for the misleading shuttle information, poor communication, and complete lack of follow-up. If a hotel no longer offers a service, it should not be…

I absolutely loved this place! Great breakfast! Helpful staff! Clean comfy rooms! My only complaint is that we had to get a taxi from the airport because we couldn’t connect with the shuttle last night.

Great place

The hotel charges $18 per day when you stay there, and $21 per day if you leave your car while flying. While the convenience of on-site parking might seem appealing, the cost quickly adds up, especially for longer trips. Considering that you can get free parking next door, it’s hard to justify paying extra when a more affordable and equally safe option is available. I recommend staying at another hotel next door that offers free parking.

Not to far from airport and price was fair. Clean, convenient, and the shuttle service is always a plus.

propre rien à dire, à part le petit déjeuner pour nous européen

Room was clean and ready. Customer service was excellent. Breakfast was nice. Could use other breakfast meat besides sausage patties. Our stay was very relaxing.

Excellent customer service at front desk as well customer kitchen staff member and other services as well. Your support. Made our business day easier.|Thank you,|Sincerely, |Mr. Jaime V.

Flight arrived at 2am and their website says “complimentary shuttle available.” The answering machine even says shuttle service is 24/7. Complete lie. After finally getting ahold of someone, we were told to get our own ride and they would “reimburse” us later. Then we get to the room and the light fixture is literally fizzing and flickering when turned on. Had to unplug it because it honestly felt like an electrocution risk. Breakfast was terrible. The eggs and sausage tasted microwaved, slimy, and barely edible. The one thing they were efficient at? The second breakfast closing time hit, employees came out, shut the lights off, and blocked everything off immediately. Luckily we only had to stay here from 3am to 11am. Easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.

The staff was very professional and courteous. They were very helpful and accommodating. The location was great. The van drivers were very nice, and the noise level for me was zero! The room was clean and cool when I arrived, and the atmosphere was peaceful.
-
Great spacious hotel room. Hot tub was cold never warmed up.
-
Stayed here with my wife and mom prior to taking my Snowbird mom back to the airport to return to NY. Have stayed here multiple times and always enjoy. They generally are accommodating with both early check-ins and late check-outs.|Room is clean. Pool area is nice and usually not crowded. Breakfast is good - scrambled eggs were actually seasoned, which was a first for me at a free hotel breakfast.|Many restaurants within walking distance. Cuban food truck is the best but Dennys (24 hours) and Chili's are also good options.|One suggestion is to make the hot tub a bit warmer. It was barely warmer than the pool water.|Great stay as usual.

Office staff is so welcoming …..nice service too…

I was so excited to stay here. Researching online several people posted that they had a shuttle to the port. I booked, checked in and spoke with the gentleman behind the desk that they had a shuttle to the port. He said yes and scheduled me for a 12:30 pick up. The next morning, I come downstairs, speak with another front desk person and confirm that we were still good for a ride to the port and she confirmed all was well. Their shuttle guy shows up at 12:30, before he loads our bags, I ask him—you’re going to the port? He says yes. We get in the van and two other people going to the airport start shouting out their airlines… then the driver asks me what airline? I was in a full panic because by this time we’re turning on the a highway and he doesn’t seem to be stopping. I have to demand that he turn back and he has the nerve to tell me the kid that booked me was new like that was somehow going to change the problem I now have which is no ride to the port. I get back in the hotel and the front desk person tells me they only go to the airport like I just didn’t specifically ask her about going to the port. I was so mad! I had to pay over $100 to take a Lyft and almost missed my check in time. So caution—anyone planning to cruise from Orlando, pay the money to stay closer. As far as the hotel, they made no effort to try to make it up. I told the girl I was going to leave a bad review and all she could offer was, I’ll let my manager know. 2026 customer service smh!
-
Terrific location near the airport and the physical plant had been refreshed.|Not all the changes were to my liking. They now charge $18 per night for parking. This is an airport locale hotel not a downtown property. So charging anything for parking is egregious.|Our upgraded room contained only one trashcan. No such receptacle in the bathroom! Since when does this happen in any Marriott hotel?||I had a $100 Marriott gift card and had read that I could present it at check-in. I was told that I couldn't use it for a pre-paid reservation although there was no mention of this on either the website or the app.|I was told that I could use it if I contacted the hotel by telephone to book the room. This seems odd to the point of being contorted logic.||We've stayed at this hotel at least a half a dozen times but I can tell you that it won't happen again.
-
The room was fine. The hotel shuttle was an absolute disappointment. I called for the shuttle pick up at 10:45 pm on a Tuesday night. The shuttle didn't show up until 11:20. The hotel is literally a 10 minute drive even when it's busy. I called at 11:10 to see if there was a problem and the front desk acted surprised and stated we are sending him now. It's obvious they failed to inform the driver the first time I called.
-
Very disappointed in service. We put people up there visiting for business and seems like they mess up the check in and absent customer service. Hope they get it right or will be hosting elsewhere!
