Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
People either love this place or they do not, and the ratings show it. Reviews mentioning how guests are treated average 3.5 stars, so it divides opinion rather than settling it. Speed of service follows at 22% of reviews, where ratings average 4.0.
Of the 18 rated reviews, 14 sit at four stars or better and 4 at two or below. 5 stars is the modal score, given by 11 of the 18 reviewers who rated.
The kitchen graded a C (79/100) on 2 high-priority and 5 basic violations at its last inspection, which is roughly where the reviews sit too. That inspection was on April 27, 2026. Its inspection trajectory is downward over the records we hold. On health score it sits safer than 18% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. Among the items recorded were cross-contamination and in-use food dispensing utensils properly stored.
Neither signal is decisive on its own here, which is why both are shown. Read the originals below and judge the pattern yourself.

My husband and I love LongHorn Steakhouse—it’s one of our favorite steakhouse chains! We tried the Florida location, and it did not disappoint. The steaks were cooked just the way we like them—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Great food, friendly service, and a consistently delicious meal. We’ll definitely be back!

4 stars...really good steaks for the price and they are never frozen.

Sanitary conditions by the clean up crew really need to be stepped up. Trays or dropped on the floor and they're never picked up and when they are they never cleaned off & just just placed on the a table. Service was good by the wait staff. Place was in better condition & cleaner tables & floor. Good burger & fries the best so far.

We placed an order for 7:00 p.m., and it arrived 12 minutes late. My partner placed an order for 6:41 p.m., and theirs arrived 20 minutes late. When the waitress with the bob haircut brought my food out and presented the check, I crossed out the tip line because I wasn't going to tip for curbside service that was also significantly delayed. As she took the checkbook back, I politely said, "Stay hydrated—it's 100 degrees outside." Instead of responding professionally, she snatched the checkbook from my hand and walked away. Between the delays and the rude interaction, the customer service was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

I used to like this location a lot but my last few visits have caused me to take a break from them. Cleanliness is dropping, food not as good and the pastime in, most of the taps were wiped out. Plus, like all these chains they try to push the woke beer like bud light on you. Get local brews in especially ales, IpA and some cans or bottles. We are all getting sick of light beer and foreign beer. When that is my option I drink water.

Very disappointed. The manager confirmed that protein portions were reduced starting June 1, but this change is not disclosed on the menu. The steak was dry, salty, and not tender at all. When I raised my concerns, nothing was done to address them. The service was also the worst I’ve experienced. Poor food quality, smaller portions, and terrible customer service.

Very bad experience in this location, never come back again after been my favorite location, driving from St Cloud to be ignored for more the 20 mins when I decided to stand up and leave, partly of 5 and no server notice our present. Is not the first time this happened but we give a second chance, but this happened again!!!!

Our family dined at LongHorn Steakhouse on Alafaya yesterday to celebrate a birthday. We were seated immediately, but our food took about 45–55 minutes to arrive. You would probably think I’m about to leave a negative review, but actually, this is a very positive one. Our server, D’Aydrian, was exceptional. From the very beginning, he let us know that the kitchen was backed up, continuously kept us updated on the status of our food, and even offered complimentary appetizers for the inconvenience. His attentiveness and professionalism truly stood out. I normally don’t like leaving negative reviews unless absolutely necessary. At another restaurant I visited recently (not this one), when we mentioned an issue to the waitress, she simply said, “Oh, I’m sorry. Hopefully next time your experience will be better,” without ever trying to make things right. D’Aydrian did the complete opposite — he genuinely cared about our experience and went above and beyond to make our evening enjoyable. I was so impressed that I asked to speak with his manager personally so I could let them know how amazing he was. Thank you, LongHorn, for making our birthday celebration special for our family and the birthday guest. We can’t wait to visit again, and we will definitely be asking for D’Aydrian next time!
