What diners say — our read

Across 16 reviews, opinion here is genuinely mixed. Reviews mentioning freshness and temperature average 3.0 stars, so it divides opinion rather than settling it. Front-of-house follows at 25% of reviews, where ratings average 3.5.

If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (11 reviews). The split is 11 positive to 2 negative across 16 rated reviews, with 3 in the middle. One subject never comes up here: how long an order takes.

The inspection lands in between as well: DBPR graded this kitchen a B (84/100), citing 1 high-priority, 1 intermediate, and 5 basic violations. DBPR last walked in on March 5, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. On health score it sits safer than 28% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. The citations behind that grade include cross-contamination.

Nothing here pulls in opposite directions — an unusually clean read. Everything above is computed from the 16 reviews reproduced below.

Muchisima la espera, y la comida Fria el frape de parcha aguado, los tostones sin sabor. Creo que deberian mejorar la calidad del sabor en cada comida y bebidas.

What a find this was. We were in Orlando for the weekend and I was looking for a Puerto Rican bakery for breakfast. I had a tripleta nada my wife had a ha, egg and cheese. We also had some pastries and I had some alcapurias. Everything was great! It was like being back home. We need one here in Jacksonville. This place is worth the trip. It was busy, but it was worth it.

Corn bread was dry and relatively smaller than the usual. I come here at least 3 times a week for the corn bread, which it used to be the best in the area, but now they’re so dry and stale :(

The food is good and reasonably priced, but the pastries are overpriced.

    Muy buena comida

The food was good, the atmosphere was good, and the staff was fine. However, the lady who helped me in the bakery didn't notice that the dessert I purchased was bad. I told her what I wanted and was taking care of my kids. She put everything in a bag; I paid and left. When I got home that night, and my husband was going to eat the dessert, he almost got food poisoning if he had eaten it. Thanks God he noticed the weird smell as soon as he opened it and looked at it. You could actually see it. I don't know how the lady who put it in the bag and gave it to me didn't notice. My opinion is, if they make fresh dessert and it doesn't sell in 3 days, those need to go in the trash so things like this don't happen again.

Horrible experience. They are crooks and liars! I ordered 4 Sweet Plantain Mofongos with their protein. They gave me green plantains! I told the manager to have my order redone as when I get home all my orders were wrong. They did not offer neither to remake my order nor to refund me my money. Stay away horrible customer service!!! Food was soooooo dry and horrible!
