Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
The 4.1-star average is misleading — almost nobody actually rated it that. The staff tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.0 stars.
The split is 19 positive to 4 negative across 23 rated reviews. More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 14 of 23.
The inspection record is the harder read. DBPR graded this kitchen an F (15/100) on 5 high-priority, 6 intermediate, and 27 basic violations — a verdict the review average does not reflect. That result dates from April 10, 2026. The trend across inspections is decline. That puts it ahead of 0% of graded kitchens in Orange County. What the inspector actually wrote up: food from approved source.
What to do with that is a judgement call — the reviews describe the experience, the grade describes the conditions behind it. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

Today my son and I went to Ming Bistro for lunch. It had been a long time since we last visited. We were very happy to see the waitress again. After that, we ordered our food, including one of my son’s favorite dishes, salt-and-pepper squid. I was shocked when the waitress made a comment to my son, saying that the reason he is overweight is because he orders dishes like that. I felt very hurt for my son. I believe a waitress should not make comments like that to customers. In addition, another staff member came to our table and asked if we were ready to order. While speaking to us, she was chewing food with food still in her mouth. In my opinion, that was unprofessional and disrespectful. Overall, I was disappointed by these experiences.

Good food with the best service. We had a party of 8 and it went smoothly.

Food was authentic and tasted amazing. The place feels cozy on the inside. 10/10 spot

It was great 6 years ago. This time, it is so...so because I have been to many new places

Best Authentic Chinese we have had and we travel the country. Very good! We had Mongolian Beef and General TSO Chicken. Pot Stickers, and a Shrimp Ball.
-
Awesome! 100% recommend
-
Most authentic. Great taste, no fluff. Best house fried rice and shrimp balls.
-
Food was point but Alittle cold. Service was Alittle to br desired. However the place was slammed so I still give them 5 Star. Love the flavors and textures of all the food. Can't wait to try the newest location when it opens.

Questionable health practices, when you go in the restaurant, the unsanitary elements show up immediately with plates that are barely clean, and people prepping meat out in the open without gloves. 🤮 No idea how this restaurant is still open but come here if you want to spend a day in the toilet.
-
Reasonably priced dim sum. Had the shrimp stuffed eggplant, shrimp dumplings, and shrimp rice paste. Each came out promptly and were delicious and fresh. For having 3 different shrimp dishes, each tasted unique.
-
Huge portions, inexpensive food, tons of variety. Service is quick and no nonsense. Food somehow comes out faster than you can sit down. 5 out of 5 stars!

Great place for Dim Sum
-
Amazing dim sum, hot, fresh, and very fairly priced. We were about to get something from the cart but the server suggested that she will come back around with even fresher version of the dish for us. I love the attention to quality and the service was also fantastic. Everyone was nice and food was 10/10. Will be back!

Ordered 8 dishes, not one miss. Ribs in black bean sauce, lotus sticky rice, and the salted egg yolk buns were standout, but everything was worth ordering again. Delicious.
-
I can’t even digest the food after seeing this. Cough, wipe nose and carry food then prep food without gloves.
-
Food is good all around. You have to order dimsum. They don’t have the cart. I appreciate upfront pricing and clearly written. A lot of times when I go to Chinese restaurant I fell scam because it’s written on Chinese and I have no idea what I’m being charged. We eat here on occasion.

Ming's is an absolutely underrated establishment in Orlando. Their house special fried rice and the creamy chicken and corn soup are highlights on the menu.

We came here on a Saturday for the dim sum and had a really great time. As soon as we sat down, our server explained everything to us and got us our drinks. She was very sweet and helpful the entire time, and let us know we could get things from the cart and order from the menu. We ended up doing both and it was a nice experience to be able to do both. I really liked the variety of dumplings and dim sum we were able to get and how hot it came out after we ordered. Some of my favorites were the siu mai, the bao buns, the shrimp balls, and the shrimp rice paste. I recommend trying this place out.
-
Weekends are super busy for dimsum but they serve it all day even on weekdays! I love their pineapple bun and they make it themselves everyday, but sometimes its sold out when I get there. I also recommend the charsiu. The duck and roast pork are ok but not as good as other places
-
Really great service and food.
-
WORST SERVICE EVER. The cashier was disrespectful. The food was poor quality and not worth it. This place is not worth visiting. They should improve their customer service, food quality, and be more respectful
-
The food was plentiful and tasty.

This is a great place for a large family. We order several dishes and share. Food is consistantly the same and not good one day and bad the next visit. I am not allowed to get take out from the quick place next to the grocery store or my grand kids will be very disappointed. Favorites for the kids of course is fried rice, mae fun, kung poa chicken, and rice noodles.
