Nile Ethiopian Restaurant is one of those places that reminds you how much fun it is to step outside your normal routine. If you’ve never had Ethiopian food before, this is a great introduction. The traditional injera turns the entire meal into a shared experience, and before long you’re wondering why forks became the default in the first place. Eating with your hands somehow slows everything down and makes dinner feel more connected. The aromas hit you as soon as the food arrives—rich spices, slow-cooked meats, flavorful vegetables, and sauces that somehow manage to be both comforting and completely different from anything you’re used to. The vegetarian combinations are every bit as impressive as the meat dishes, and if you have the chance to experience the traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony, don’t skip it. What stood out most was how authentic the experience felt. It never comes across as trying to cater to trends. It simply shares Ethiopian culture through hospitality, food, and tradition. Orlando has an incredible international food scene, and Nile is a reminder that some of the city’s best meals come from being willing to try something new. Leave your comfort zone for an evening—you’ll probably leave with a new favorite cuisine. 🦩

Nile Ethiopian Restaurant is a must-visit whenever I’m in Orlando! On our most recent visit, we shared the Beef Tibs, Doro Wat, and the Vegetarian Combo, and every dish was absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic, rich, and perfectly prepared. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the restaurant was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Between the incredible food, five-star service, wonderful atmosphere, and spotless dining area, this restaurant consistently delivers an amazing experience. I highly recommend Nile Ethiopian Restaurant and will continue to return every time I’m in Orlando!

The best Ethiopian restaurant I have ever been to. From the cleanliness of the restaurant to the taste of the food to the amazing service. My son is 10 years old, and he has been to many Ethiopian restaurants. He said, “This is what we call food.” he finished the whole plate. I recommend the restaurant.

This is my favorite place for Ethiopian food! The dishes are always flavorful, authentic, and expertly prepared. Ale and Lydia consistently provide exceptional service and make every visit feel like you’re dining with family. We always order the Chef’s Special Combination, which is the perfect way to sample several of their most popular and delicious dishes. For appetizers, the Tomato FitFit is a must-try and one of my personal favorites. If you’re looking for outstanding Ethiopian cuisine and warm hospitality, this is the place to go!

This is my first time trying Ethiopian food. The restaurant's location is not the prettiest. The lamb tibs were good, the split peas (Kik alicha) were good, the sambusa was delicious (I would come only for that). They serve it with injera. We didn't like the injera's taste. To me, it tasted too much like vinegar. Service-wise, they were very nice, but not very attentive, even when there were only two other tables.

We had an amazing experience. We arrived shortly after they opened and were the only customers. We have never had Ethiopian food or the experience. Our server was more than happy to share her cuisine and culture with us. She made suggestions, that we followed. Plus we added some extras. Wow. It was amazing. So much flavor and the portions are plentiful. We received the coffee ceremony experience. Definitely give the coffee a try. Ethiopian is the origin of coffee. Thank you so much for sharing your culture and cuisine with us. You were so welcoming and patient with us. We will definitely be back to try more goodies.

Stopped by Nile Ethiopian Restaurant and it stands out. The space is warm and welcoming, and the service is attentive without hovering. You can tell they take pride in the experience from the moment you sit down. Food is the highlight. Authentic Ethiopian dishes served on injera, full of flavor and meant to be shared. Everything came out fresh, well-balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. If you’re new to Ethiopian cuisine, the staff does a great job guiding you through it. If you’re in Orlando and want something different from the usual rotation, this is a solid spot worth checking out.

Never tried authentic Ethiopian food before and I'm so glad this was my introduction to it. The staff was so nice, very clean atmosphere and the food was so good! My friend and I shared the Chef's Special and it was more than enough for two people. It was a perfect sampling of some of their main dishes. While everything tasted similar, each was distinct and all equally delicious. We also ordered the sambusa and they were so delicious! I definitely plan on coming back and telling all my friends to come here.

Everyone is sleeping on Nile Ethiopian! This was SO flavorful and customer service was incredible. The only sad thing was we were literally the only people in the restaurant. If you want to try something new and delicious, please stop by and try is out. PS - parking is plentiful

The Nile Ethiopian Restaurant is a hidden gem in the middle of all that is International Drive. If you enjoy flavors and experiencing new things, this is a great place to add to your list. As a vegetarian, the veggie platter for two with ingera is something we crave! We love the little private "huts", where it feels like you are being transported to another place. The coffee being roasted with charcoal and they serve it while still roasting! The aroma was amazing! Great customer service and welcoming atmosphere. When we lived in the Orlando area, it was always a treat for us - but now, it is a MUST of things to do when we travel south. If you haven't made your way to the Nile Ethiopian Restaurant, put it on your calendar!

Beautiful restaurant with hospitable service and excellent Ethiopian food! My fiancé and I had the Taste of Nile, which is plenty of vegetarian food for 2 people. A good place to go to if you're looking for non-greasy food options with plenty of veggies.

Our first time trying Ethiopian food whilst on vacation in Orlando and we were not disappointed! The service was fantastic, we had recommendations on what to try and went for the Chef's Special. Our favourite was the split peas, very tasty and great depth of flavour. Would highly recommend if you're staying on International Drive!

You eat with your hands, which prepares your body to enjoy and savor food. Try the Tej, it is an incredible honey mead.

Delicious food and friendly staff. I recommend the Lamb Tibs 👍🏻
