This Japanese izakaya has become one of my favorite spots to unwind and enjoy great food. The atmosphere feels authentic—warm lighting, lively but not chaotic, and the kind of place where you can relax, share plates, and actually enjoy the experience instead of rushing through a meal. The food is excellent and clearly made with care. The small-plate style makes it fun to try different dishes, and everything I’ve had has been flavorful and well balanced. From grilled skewers to fresh sashimi and comforting hot dishes, nothing feels generic—it’s a place that truly respects Japanese cuisine. The drink selection is also a highlight. They have a solid variety of sake and Japanese beers, and the staff is always happy to help if you’re not sure what to choose. It pairs perfectly with the food and really completes the izakaya experience. What makes this place even more special is the hospitality. Chris, Yuko and the staff are incredibly welcoming and genuinely care about their guests. Their warmth, attention to detail, and passion for creating a memorable dining experience are evident every time I visit. Service is friendly and attentive without hovering, which fits the vibe perfectly. It’s the kind of place you can go for a casual night out, a date, or to sit with friends and enjoy great conversation over amazing food. If you’re looking for a Japanese spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently delivers, this izakaya is definitely worth visiting. Thank you, Chris and…

Kim was cool, and she made all the best recommendations!

This is the spot. Eat ramen here. My server was excellent, I was drinking water down like a sponge and she was on top of it. The food, amazing. I had the tofu appetizer, chicken thigh skewer, and the tonkatsu ramen; broth on point, noodles = perfection. The decor is pretty cool too.

Nothing but 10s across the board here for service, food, atmosphere. Server Asuka was wonderful- kind, unhurried, helpful. And the 8-9 differdishes we had were as good/better than I've had in japan. Great place, perfect mix of fun and whimsy. Oh! And they have Dassai. Try it.

Fantastic meal, Ramen and Yakitori (skewers) were delicious. Great atmosphere sat at the bar watching the kitchen and the service, particularly from Kim was brilliant! Absolutely recommend.

Great Japanese restaurant in Orlando area. The food is well prepared and the taste is more towards Japanese. The service and ambiance are also great.

The wagyu don bowl is the single greatest food I've ever eaten in my life, legitimately was a wave of pure bliss through my body every time I took a bite, and the Godzilla cocktail was delicious too very very dangerous

Tonkatsu ramen. Bacon wrapped mochi. Susuru gohan. Beef tongue. So good.

Cute little shop with small portion options - delicious! Arrive at opening for little to no wait, otherwise I’ve waited 30m (but it’s worth it!)

We came for the yakitori and were not disappointed. The skewers were fresh and tasty. The highball was just okay, but the Sapporo beer was fresh and cold. We'd happily come back.

Excellent food!! Fair pricing. Fantastic staff! The bartenders Asuka and Chris did a phenomenal job taking care of me. They were extremely kind and attentive. The quality of everything was very good, the atmosphere is wonderfully authentic. This will be going on my list of top restaurants in Orlando, easily. And I hope to bring friends and family back with me next time! Thank you to Chris, Asuka, and the Susuru team!
