Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
4.7 stars from 25 reviews, with the reasoning pulling in different directions. Where the staff comes up, the rating that follows averages 4.9, so it reads as a strength. Plate size follows at 20% of reviews, where ratings average 5.0.
The split is 24 positive to 1 negative across 25 rated reviews. More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 21 of 25. The corpus runs from Dec 2025 through Jun 2026 — not a single moment in time. What nobody raises here is tidiness — it goes unmentioned across all 25 reviews.
The inspection lands in between as well: DBPR graded this kitchen a C (74/100), citing 2 high-priority, 2 intermediate, and 4 basic violations. That result dates from March 6, 2026. Its inspection trajectory is downward over the records we hold. That puts it ahead of 12% of graded kitchens in Orange County. What the inspector actually wrote up: food from approved source.
This is a listing where the two measures each tell half the story. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

My son and his family took me to Tin & Taco for my first time while I was visiting from Ocala. I introduced myself to Rafael and let him know I'd never been there before and needed help understanding the menu options. He was helpful and friendly. I had two tacos - one with T&T steak and the other with chicken. The food was so flavorful, so delicious. The portions were generous, and I enjoyed my leftovers for lunch the next day. Rafael, thanks for all you do! Keep up the great work!

We did Sodo Square tonight, which, to me is the best pizza I have ever had! The crust is crunchy and soft, all at the same time! The ingredients are very fresh, just like their neighbor, Tin and Taco. Looking for great foid? Try either one!

I’d call this a gourmet taco place.
-
They have some amazing, juicy tacos! Went in there for the first time asked the guy taking the order to order some of the best messiest tacos for me and they were jaw dropping crazy. I wish I could eat more but was so full with three tacos lol they serve good portions too.

This place is the spotttttt for when you want to GRUB OUT. You will thank me later for ordering the mex fries with your taco toppings piled on top. Goodness I can’t say enough good things about how much I love this place. Wide selection of canned beers/ciders, too!
-
Raphael (hope I spelled correctly) provided excellent customer service with full knowledge of the menu and the eclectic locally focused canned beer selection. I have to mention Summer also, who provided equally great table service. The large room has a friendly open vibe and is shared with the top notch Detroit style SoDo Pizza kitchen on the other side. Affordable, fun and family welcoming and as a hospitality industry person myself I highly recommend.

This place is like no other. The quality of the food will beat any of your expectations! This is without a doubt, my favorite taco place. I drove from Wesley Chapel to Orlando just to eat here. There are other taco places, and some are more Mexican authentic, but the food here is a fusion of many, many different combinations of flavors, and I have never had anything bad here, NEVER! Please come here and just try it if you are in the area, and i can assure you with pretty high confidence that.you will not be disappointed.
