Reviews here split hard: 12 five-star against 3 one-star, with little in between. Reviews mentioning how guests are treated average 3.9 stars, so it divides opinion rather than settling it. Speed of service follows at 40% of reviews, where ratings average 3.8.
A third strand, freshness and temperature, appears in 30% of them at 4.0 stars. The split is 13 positive to 4 negative across 20 rated reviews, with 3 in the middle. 5 stars is the modal score, given by 12 of the 20 reviewers who rated.
The kitchen graded a B (89/100) on 1 intermediate and 8 basic violations at its last inspection, which is roughly where the reviews sit too. That inspection was on January 13, 2026. Ranked against Seminole County, it is safer than 43% of the restaurants we score. Among the items recorded were dishwashing facilities and food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized.
The honest summary is that the evidence is mixed on both sides. Everything above is computed from the 20 reviews reproduced below.

Great fish sandwich...employees are friendly and go out of their way for you...will be back soon.

I live Culvers. It's expensive for fast food, but it is very good.
-
It's definitely a good fast food choice with many food choices. Order is placed at counter and food is brought out to table. Reasonably fast and efficient. Many ice cream choices and seems to be a popular spot for those seeking a cold treat. Special ice cream flavors are rotated in and out. Premises were clean. Staff was courteous.

Order through the drive-thru cod and a burger. I watched the young lady deliver my food to the car behind me through my rearview mirror. Not understanding if I'm the first car with the sticker on my mirror why was my food delivered to the wrong person I don't want the food after somebody has gone through it. Please train your staff to pay attention it's not that hard they just need to focus. 6-15-26

Very good food and service for a fast food restaurant keep it up

The burgers at Culver's are always good, but they are usually fantastic at this location. So good! That probably explains why there's usually a little bit of a wait during the lunch hour. The location in Oviedo never disappoints. Recommend!

Always do the drive thru. Everything is fresh and delicious.

Comemos um hambúrguer muito bom de frango frito. Ambiente agradável e free refil no refrigerante.
-
I went through drive through and I was outside for 20 minutes and I went inside and canceled my order. The only thing I was getting was a kid's meal and twenty minutes is ridiculous
-
These people can't seem to get their orders right. Linn at drive thru no help

Visited Culver's in Oviedo tonight and was disappointed. Paid over $28 for a kid's meal and a pot roast sandwich combo, only to receive food that was cold, fries that were barely half full and a pot roast sandwich that was mostly bread with very little meat. I normally don't leave negative reviews, but with prices where they are today, I expected much better value and quality. Hopefully this was just an off night but it was frustrating to spend that much and leave feeling like we didn't get what we paid for.

Everything 5 stars everytime

Love the cheese curds with cheese sauce for dipping, it’s the main reason I go to Culver’s. Unfortunately, the last two times the cheese sauce has been way too watery. It’s completely unappetizing and disappointing. I Won’t be wasting my money on the cheese sauce again from this location. Other than that the service is great at this location!

Certainly better than other fast food chains. Nelson, at the register, was great.

We love this restaurant! NEVER had a problem always clean and friendly and always fresh! Today I was watching this strapping young man working like a machine! It was really something to see as you RARELY see these days! He was methodical, quick and effective! I just had to say something to him because I admire GREAT WORK ETHICS! Come to find out that young man is the GM of the store! Christian is A ROCK STAR! Carmen too and really the entire team is just awesome! 🤩

It’s very clean, team members are attentive and friendly! Everything I’ve ever ordered was hot and delicious!! Nothing beats their custard!

I’m pretty conflicted about this restaurant. I tend to avoid coming here because the location is a hassle—especially if you’re coming from the west side of town and have to cross Mitchell Hammock. More importantly, the wait times are consistently frustrating. It usually takes 30–45 minutes to get my order, which feels unacceptable for a fast-food spot. That said, the burgers and fries are usually very good. I do have a few suggestions for improvement. First, consider giving customers the option to choose whether condiments go on the top or bottom of the burger. I personally prefer them on top and often end up eating my burgers upside down because of this. I understand putting condiments on the bottom can help prevent the bun from getting soggy, but some people prefer tasting them first before mixing with the rest of the burger. Lastly, it would help to include the car’s location on the receipt or bag. That way, servers wouldn’t have to spend extra time searching for the correct vehicle when delivering orders. For comparison, your competitor, Steak ’n Shake, is right up the street. It’s easier to enter, the prices are lower, the food quality has improved significantly, and it typically only takes about 15 minutes to receive an order. With wait times as long as yours, it makes you wonder where customers are going to choose to go instead.
